A client contacted us following the purchase of this property under recommendation from a previous client to have some refurbishment works carried out.

One of the major parts was wanting to extending the current kitchen across two rooms with a large archway into a dinning area. 

The client was advised to have plans drawn up by an architect, once received we agreed and explained the process with the client who was very happy we were able to accommodate them in to remove the asbestos artex to the pre2000 property and also assist with bringing in approved contractors for Gas works etc.

Building Control were also notified and a structural engineer appointed to handle technical data and ensure the correct steels were supplied.

The upper floor was supported with acrow’s while the supporting walls were removed, the textured coating was removed under controlled conditions, the supporting steels were then lifted into place and seated on top of pillars as set out by the structural engineer.

Once building control had inspected the install of the steels, a new kitchen was installed, windows changed and new hot water system installed.

The client was over the moon with the finished results and has since asked for us to carry out further works.
